As I watch familiar officers file past, they all appear to be settled and finally seated.

"Gentlemen all rise for the Admiral". Admiral Sharpe files in with Admiral Clark in tow, both quickly sit looking strangely placid.

The last of the officers sit down quietly so I begin.
