Hey all,

I've been poking around the net last couple of days to see if anyone is still playing sfc..in any form and if so where. I haven't played since 2001 and been having the itch lately. Yeah, I'm still using my old callsign..i don't think the 3rd is active anymore...but i remember a few matches w/ 9th and bff and so on. Anyone care to fill me in? Thanks alot!

Hey there. Both the D2 and D3 are still pretty active, although the D2 is more active than the D3

The major sites at the moment for online sfc gaming are

D3 - SFC3.Puterz.net
D2 - Dynaverse.net

Right now there is a D2 campaign going which only started yesterday called Slave Girls 6. You can get more info on it on the dynaverse.net site

Thanks..i'll check out those sites. D2 is for sfc2 and 3 is for sfc3, I assume? I never bought 3 though. Anyways, thanks again...good to see one of the originals still kicking around.

Thanks guys..I'm all about the beer..you guys mostly in the UK? Don't try to pawn off the shimy shimy 50-50 on me..I know i butchered it..Its hard to hear through a scottish accent..especially when its 10:30 and you just stopped for a "wee alcoholic beverage"

Btw, can someone explain what the heck is going as far as actually playing? its all dynaverse now? Are the games on cycles? ongoing? which onews are mosta ctive..and which version is everyone playing..2, 3 or some OP variant. I see all sorts of mods and game dl eveywhere..i'm a bit confused. Gone are the days of GZ or gamespy matches huh?

I think its about 50%UK and the surrounding area and the other 50% US and Canada

In OP the base mod used is OP+4.0 while SFC3 varies greatly and not all camps are based off a single mod.. most camps run around 2 weeks at a time
