Thank you all, because of my satelite connection I have not been able to be on much especially with the dbl exp weekend. I have not signed up for one of your nifty signatures yet, but I hope the one I did will suffice for now. I would rather wait till I get to VA and decide on ship before having someone put work into it. I do have a question tho. I have seen all these squadron tags, etc...am I in a squadron, and if so which one ?
I also would like to know what you mean by the ship registry, is there an official place to register your ships and designations.

Deal is this:
You can pick any name for a ship you want (so long as it isn't taken by a 9th officer already), and pick any registration. It has nothing to do with STO, so that means you can pick any ship class you want as well. Only things I like is to not have numbers in the ship name.
In terms of squadrons, you're in the STO division, and depending on whether you were recruited from Klingon side or Fed side you'll be in either HoPT or 1st. Shame, you won't be in my division
Ribbons and other awards will be earned for what you do in game or for the fleet as a whole.
i.e. right now you'll have the STO ribbon (and STO beta if you took part in that). Ryker/Sparky/Sochin are the cream of the crop, one look at thier sigs will enforce that. =)
And don't worry about not being on much, it happens =)

Well that answered alot of my questions. This toon is fed and no numbers in his naming scheme...one of my toons the ship names are Merlin I - Merlin VI so far 
but not this one.
I do have a Klink that is not in a Fleet yet so might join to have one on both sides. The not being in game is not by choice trust me...been trying to get on since 3 PM EST and still no luck with connection *sigh* they just dont like Satelite users and disconnect us because of high ping....cant help the 5 sec lag sending up to the satelite unfortunately.
